This solid silver necklace is made from the end of a re-loved silver sugar tong from 1859, originally hallmarked in Newcastle.
The pendant  drops down approximately 38mm and is approximately 18mm at its widest point.
Finished on a 18” leather cord, with a solid silver hook fastener . 
Only one available, comes boxed with year and picture of original hallmark. 
This item doesn’t carry its original hallmark due to the cut of the piece, and is under the legal required weight for hallmarking.
